Straata is a digital community and car performance tracking platform created for use in safe, legal, and private settings only. We do not condone or encourage:

Speeding on public roads
Street racing or reckless driving
Distracted driving or mobile phone use while behind the wheel

Your safety is your responsibility. Always obey local traffic laws, speed limits, and signage. Eyes on the road — not your phone.

2. Intended Use

Straata’s tracking and social features are designed for:

Performance testing in controlled environments such as private tracks or safe off-road areas
Monitoring vehicle metrics for personal improvement
Socializing and showcasing rides responsibly

3. User-Generated Content & Images

By uploading images, videos, or other content to Straata:

You confirm that you have all necessary rights to share such content.
You grant Straata a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and process your content within the app.
You are solely responsible for your uploads. Straata is not liable for copyright infringement or content misuse by other users.

4. Car Data & API Disclaimer

Straata may use third-party APIs such as the NHTSA Vehicle API to fetch car makes and models. You acknowledge that:

Data provided by third-party APIs may be incomplete or inaccurate.
Straata is not responsible for any errors, omissions, or decisions based on external API data.

5. Legal Compliance

You agree to use Straata in accordance with all applicable traffic and road safety laws in your region. Straata is not liable for any traffic violations, accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from improper use of the app.

6. User Responsibility

By using Straata, you agree that:

You are solely responsible for your behavior and decisions while driving.
You will not interact with the app while operating a moving vehicle.
You understand that GPS and sensor readings may vary depending on your device and environment.

7. Limitation of Liability

Straata and its creators shall not be held liable for:

Any loss, injury, or damage caused by misuse of the app.
Data inaccuracies from GPS, sensors, or third-party APIs.
Violations of traffic or motor laws while using the app.
